THE GREEN CAR CLUB
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association created this club for owners and supporters of environmentally responsible vehicles. Members can participate in chat rooms, conferences, workshops, and festivals; learn about green technologies; and support environmental policies. Membership is free. (413) 774-6051, NESEA.org.

BETTER WORLD CLUB
Whereas AAA uses membership dues to lobby against mass transit and stronger environmental laws, Better World offers dependable emergency roadside service and gives 1 percent of its revenues to nationwide clean-up campaigns.
