One of the most profound layers of feng shui is known as Heaven Energy or the Flying Stars. Its influence affects the ebb and flow of your life just as seasonal weather does. Each of the nine areas of use in your home has an energy influence with specific attributes that change monthly as well as yearly. When one area has both the best yearly and the best monthly attributes, that area receives the best energy. Generally, the more significant the function of the room the attribute is in, the more it will affect you. In your bedroom, for example, the best yearly/best monthly attributes scenario will bring good health and luck in love. In your home office, it brings the potential for success.

Monthly predictions are based upon the direction of the door you use most often. Stand outside with your back against the door; the direction your eyes are pointing is the direction your door faces. This door is the most significant part of your home because you carry the energy effects around with you throughout the entire space.

Remember, feng shui is holistic, and many aspects of your home will influence your life experience. Even though the yearly and monthly Heaven Energy influence is predictable, many other layers will reduce or enhance the effect of the predictions.
