Hybrid Cars: Honda's CVT Insight

The American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEE) has named the Honda CVT Insight, a new version of the hybrid electric car, the “greenest vehicle” for 2001. “Honda has one-upped itself with the release of the CVT Insight,” says Jim Kliesch, co-author of ACEE’s Green Book and manager of www.greenercars.com. The new CVT Insight received a Green Score of fifty-seven, based on its tailpipe pollution and global warming impacts.
