Earth Day Open House and Workshops

Visitors can observe some of the latest solar-power technologies, as well as a strawbale home that utilizes solar and wind generated electricity. Guided tours will begin at 10:30 A.M. Three workshops on Saturday, May 3, have been added this year for those who wish to spend a full weekend experiencing the many sustainability applications going on at Stelle. These workshops are focused on the topics of permaculture-based garden design, the role and utilization of native plants, and a discussion on community living.
